According to TMZ, Game was stopped by authorities around 7 p.m. "His car was towed because the tag has been expired for more than 6 months," Glendale police spokesperson John Balian said.
Game, who was also cited for not having proof of insurance, will have to pay fines, late fees and produce an insurance card to recoup his ride from the police impound.
In related news, SOHH recently chopped it up with Game to talk about how his third album, L.A.X., may possibly be his last. The controversial emcee compared his short career to The Notorious B.I.G.'s, saying sometimes "three albums is enough in hip-hop." [Watch Below]
"Biggie only had two albums and that was enough for people," Game explained. "People say he was the greatest rapper alive, which is one of the things I agree on, but he only had two albums.
L.A.X., which hits stores on July 8, features production by Kanye West, Cool & Dre and Just Blaze along with appearances by Common, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Raekwon, Busta Rhymes and Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry.

Game Seeks to Sign Suge's Hitter
The Game hopes to sign the man that knocked out Suge Knight in a Hollywood altercation last weekend.
The popular Compton rapper made the revelation on the Hot 97 Funkmaster Flex radio show last night.
"He's the Knockout Kid. We was looking for him, we found him, and trying to sign him," The Game revealed in the on-air interview.
The Game and Knight have had tense moments as well, but ended the friction a mere two days before the Death Row mogul was rendered unconscious by a right hook.
"I just think you win some, you lose some," The Game stated. "[Suge's] not a boxer. It's not like he's Muhammad Ali, and he's been in the game and somebody finally beats you."
Suge Knight and his Death Row Records reigned throughout the 90's with a stable of artists that included Dr. Dre, Lady of Rage, The Dogg Pound and Snoop Dogg.
The Game said he feels that the older generation is going to have to respect the young up-and-comers.
"Suge, back in the day, he had it locked in L.A. But now, your time comes and goes, and you have to respect the new breed, and now that's me. I got L.A. locked, and 10 years from now there will be a new dude," he explained. "Ten years from now, when I'm 40, there's gonna be a new kid and I gotta respect that dude. Hopefully, the Knockout Kid's little brother don't hit me or something ... or step to me. I don't want no problems with the Knockout Kid."
The Game stated that, while there is still a lot of talk, the KO wasn't really a major deal in the grand scheme of things.
"I just know everybody gots a chin, and when hit in the right place, you go down," he said.
The Game is preparing to release his third album L.A.X. (Los Angeles Times) is due in stores July 8.

Foxy Brown Rejects Mixtape Release
Foxy Brown has released a statement expressing her extreme disappointment in the release of her new album "Brooklyn's Don Diva."
The following statement is via Missinfo.tv:
“Brooklyn's Don Diva”, My highly anticipated street album which hit stores Tuesday, is, as it was intended to be, a mixtape street album - The warm up to my long-awaited, epic, 4th studio album, Black Roses.
Unfortunately, during my incarceration, this CD was compiled without my approval. I heard this CD in its entirety fir the first time just days ago and was devastated. Riddled with grief over an album that was seemingly so carelessly orchestrated, I sat down with the president of Koch to come to a decision on how to make the best of this situation. In another phase of my life and career I would have dealt with this situation with litigation, but for the benefit of my fans and in the wake of the profound spiritual cleansing, I recently underwent in prison. I made the decision to settle our creative differences amicably. My fans have waited 7 years for an in-store release and deserve my very best.
Next month Koch Records and I will be re-releasing Brooklyn's Don Diva with 5 new records, videos, publicity, mass-marketing and promotion. I am of creative pedigree, and I have an obligation to my fans to deliver the level of product my brand is accustomed to. In order to preserve my artistic integrity, the new release will have my stamp of approval and fingerprints all over it. Going independent was a great business decision and I believe Koch and I will deliver the biggest street album in female rap history."

DMX Charged with Animal Cruelty
Authorities say DMX has been arrested on drug and animal-cruelty charges in Phoenix following an overnight raid on the rapper’s house. The Maricopa County sheriff’s office says the 37-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, at first tried to barricade himself in his bedroom. He came out as a SWAT team entered during the early-morning raid Friday. The indictment stems from an August search of the rapper’s home prompted by reports of dogs being abused on his property.

Remy Ma Sentenced to Eight Years
Remy has been sentenced today (May 13) to 8 years in prison.
Remy was sentenced on weapons and coercion charges in Manhattan Criminal Court. Prior to delivering his judgement, the judge gave a statement.
"I've learned Remy is an intelligent and charitable young woman...She's overcome a difficult childhood. Her music has inspired people in need. She's loved and has support from her family...This is somewhat of a pattern. This is not the first time she has been engaged in a violent act. She never took responsibility for her actions. This has nothing to do with rap it's about the actions of one person. Remy is an extremely angry young woman who feels the rules do not apply to her.
Remy Ma herself addressed the court while weeping. "I stand here today as Remy Mackie. I'm a loving wife, mother and loving daughter and loving sister to my brothers and sisters."

Rev Run Puts On Show At The Garden
Hip-Hop pioneer Reverend Run will make a triumphant return to Madison Square Garden during a sold out performance this Thursday (May 15).
The Run-DMC co-founder and Run's House reality TV star is in the midst of an international trek with Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and J. Geils Band member Peter Wolf. The critically acclaimed show flows more like one fluid performance, with artists from different genres performing with each other during the concert, which draws fans of all races, creeds and colors.
The show marks Reverend Run's first appearance at Madison Square Garden since 1988 and is Lynyrd Skynyrd's first ever appearance in the venue. "Here it is 2008, 20 years later. I can't believe that God has allowed me to perform at the Garden once again," an enthused Reverend Run told AllHipHop.com. "Me, Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd? You can't get more diverse than that. It's sold out. I'm excited."
The appearance is a homecoming of sorts for the rapper, who first introduced his legendary catch phrase that was popularized in the movie Krush Groove. "This is a big deal for me," Reverend Run told AllHipHop.com. "The Garden was the first place I screamed 'Whose house?' and they all screamed Run's house!"
The phrase, which was also turned into a hit single in 1988, also serves as the intro music to Reverend Run's hit reality show Run's House.
Prior to Reverend Run's appearance at Madison Square Garden, the legendary rapper will meet and greet fans at the Foot Action on 34th St and 7th Avenue.
